Sky Italia reporter Guglielmo Cannavale (@GugliCannavale) spoke with the young Belgian this week, and has revealed his interest exclusively to TalkingTHFC.
Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing some of the best young European players around. One of them, according to Guglielmo, is certainly Adrien Bongiovanni. He was born in 1999 and he plays for Standard Liege as an attacking left midfielder. He plays also in the Belgium Under 15 team, and he’s one of the next young Belgian stars. He’s really young but has already shown his skills with a fast and technical ability, proven good in one-on-one situations. He’s Belgian by nationality but Italian by origin, and for this reason is also linked to a Serie A move.
His agent, Franco Lovino, has told Cannavale: “Adrien has interest from Spurs, but Tottenham isn’t the only club: other English clubs want Bongiovanni, some Italian clubs too. He’s a very interesting player with brilliant future“. Tottenham are still looking to Belgium for talent, after the signing of Vertonghen, Dembelé and Chadli in recent years.
Could Bongiovanni be the next?
