Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot will soon be confirmed as a Tottenham Hotspur player, according to Guglielmo Cannavale.
Reports of a six-month loan deal to the North London club were speculated in Italian press on Saturday, and it is the understanding of the Sky Sports Italia journalist that these reports are indeed true.
Cannavale confirmed to myself: “(it is) true about Rabiot.” The journalist explained further that: “I know that it’s true, probably that he’ll go (to Spurs).”
The central-midfielder has failed to make the desired impression that PSG fans would have hoped during his time at the club. Despite confirming that he will stay at the French side until 2019 in October, the 19-year-old is reportedly looking for a loan deal in order to show his worth for the first-team.
Mauricio Pochettino has given little away in terms of his plans for the window, but a loan deal for a youngster of such merit is surely an exciting prospect for the Tottenham manager, given his interest in implementing youth players into his side.
