Juventus striker Fernando Llorente has reportedly chosen Tottenham Hotspur over the likes of rivals Arsenal and Liverpool to complete a move this summer.
The story comes from the less-than-reliable Metro, however is derived from Italian reports, who earlier this week claimed that Spurs were close to completing a deal for the striker.
The Metro claimed Tottenham have agreed a £10.7million fee for the Spain international, and understood that Mauricio Pochettino could offer him a starring role at Spurs next season.
The Daily Express picked the story up also, claiming that the forward is ‘is keen to play as much as possible prior to Euro 2016’.
A move from Spurs for the striker is perhaps out-dated, given that they have been linked to his services for some time. However, could this be the summer for Spurs to seal-the-deal?
