England captain Wayne Rooney has told the press that criticism of Harry Kane’s start to the season is unjust, considering the talent that the youngster possesses.
Rooney, who is close to becoming the Three Lions’ all-time leading goal-scorer, believes that Kane exhibited his talent against San Marino and believes the country must get behind the Spurs forward.
Kane scored the fifth against San Marino in a 6-0 victory on Saturday, finishing a sublime move with his new ‘Shearer-esque’ celebration.
Rooney believes the goals will come for Kane in the Premier League, who has now scored two-in-three for his country.
