Fresh after scoring the opening goal in England’s historic 2-0 victory over Switzerland at Wembley stadium on Tuesday night, Harry Kane has expressed his pride at representing the Three Lions.
Kane, who scored an impressive driven effort against the Swiss, has now scored three goals in four international appearances for Roy Hodgson’s side.
The striker featured on a night where fellow forward Wayne Rooney became England’s all-time leading goal-scorer, with which Kane was a part of the post-penalty celebrations.
Kane told Sky Sports that it was a “huge honour,” to celebrate with the Manchester United striker, and said he was “proud,” to play alongside him.
