Under Armour rumoured to be designing ‘unique’ Tottenham Hotspur 2015-16 kits

We are heading into the ‘leaked kit’ season now, and with the summer fast approaching there will be plenty to gawp at on social media. 2013-2014-home-kit

Spurs are notorious for dragging out their kit release, and with no pre-season tour planned (meaning there’s no rush to get new merchandise out), we can expect much the same this season.

Liverpool have this week released their new New Balance 2015/16 home shirt, with other clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea having announced their sponsors for the upcoming season.

Beginning in 2012, Under Armour signed a deal with Tottenham in the region of £50million, and will continue to be the club’s official shirt manufacturer until the 2016-2017 season.

The American company have designed some classy kits for the North London club, and it is being rumoured that they will whip up a “unique” kit for the 2015/16 season.

According to FootyHeadlines.com, Under Armour are “expected to design unique Tottenham 2015-16 Shirts.”

Although it is little to go on (given the site has incorrectly stated the parameters of the Under Armour deal), UA are expected to continue designing unique merchandise for the club.

Just this season, UA’s 2014/15 Spurs kit commemorated the 10 year anniversary of Bill Nicholson’s passing, with the 2013/14 design intended to reflect the 1997-1999 Pony Tottenham home kit collar.

We have already had some leaked images revealed, with a fake Nike Tottenham Hotspur 2015-16 circulating Twitter. Nike are favourites to take over from UA beginning in 2017-18, which coincidentally aligns with the decision over the naming rights of the new stadium.

But with the ‘business-end’ of the season well underway, we could be seeing plenty leaked kits on social media.
